FleetMaster Driving Academy offer a fully managed service to ensure the journey to achieving your licence is as stress free as possible and support you at each stage of the journey. You may be required to undertake Initial CPC as part of the process but do not worry, the FleetMaster team can tell you if you do and provide this alongside your training.
Our professional LGV Driver package covers everything required to qualify as a Category C (also known as Class 2) driver, which will include the initial CPC elements if required:
- Medical and provisional licence application
- Online training for Multiple Choice, Hazard Perception and Module 2 CPC theory tests (as required)
- Booking of the theory tests
- Driving assessment (optional)
- 5-days Cat C driver training course with practical driving test
- Module 4 ‘show me, tell me’ test (if required)
- 5 days Cat C+E conversion training and test (optional)
The LGV training can be delivered as part of a 12-month apprenticeship programme for both new and existing employees. Larger businesses can use their Apprenticeship Levy to fund the full apprenticeship and smaller businesses can access government funding for 90% of the training costs. Meaning that any employer can implement a fantastic training package, that has little impact on training budgets. The apprenticeship does not only allow the employer to take on more LGV drivers, but develops the skills, knowledge and behaviours of individuals to become a safe and efficient operator within the business.
