Meet The Team

Jamie has over 20 years’ experience in the fleet risk management industry, a proven leader in strategic planning and efficient management of large customers and projects.

Away from work Jamie gives his time to and enjoys coaching young football talent and watching the darts.

John is a highly experienced driver development and fleet operations director. John has worked with and created many driver development programmes for several blue-chip companies in the Retail, Chemical and Logistics sectors and was the winner of the Motor Transport Award for Training in 2000 and the 2020 BRAKE “Kevin Storey award” winner for outstanding contribution to road safety.

John established Fleetmaster Operational Support Services in 2001. John played a major role in the creation and implantation of SAFED and as part of the implementation, John also audited the SAFED scheme. John recently returned from a two-year project with the New Zealand Ministry of transport implementing SAFED and Heavy Vehicle Performance Advisors for the NZ truck and bus industry.

Nick has been working in the Road Risk space for 16 years supporting employers across the UK and Ireland with the implementation of effective Strategy that protects employees, customers, the company, assets, reputation and brand whilst preserving the customer and end user experience.

In his spare time, Nick loves nothing better than spending time with his family and is a big Sheffield Wednesday fan.

Rachel Joined Fleetmaster in 2011 as part of the Finance Team. Since then, whilst always remaining firmly in Finance she has also gone on to do Recruitment, HR and Mental Health Wellbeing within the business. She enjoys the many hats she wears and the variety her role gives her.

Outside of work Rachel enjoys spending time with her huge family and socialising with friends, she is also partial to a PJ day with her equally lazy children and husband here and there!!

Martin has over 30 years Sales and Management experience and is all about delivering excellence for his customers and the business. Martin is repsonsible for looking after some of Fleetmaster's key customers and his key focus is growing and driving the Fleetmaster business forward.

Away from work Martin enjoys running and watching Spurs and Wakefield Trinity.

In a working capacity, Ian loves nothing more than liaising with clients to deliver a quality and punctual service, all in his very own unique style.

In his spare time, Ian spends his days with his Son, loves to cook, keep fit and has a passion for Liverpool Football Club.

Gill has always worked in Customer service roles and has had  experience within a variety of sectors. She joined the world of Logistics training over a decade ago and has covered many different roles within this industry. She joined Fleetmaster nearly 8 years ago and is currently part of the Customer Fleet support team organising driver assessments and  training for both new and existing drivers for various customer contracts.

In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her friends and  family (particularly her 4 grandchildren) and  loves to socialise.

Alex joined in Fleetmaster in 2013. She is responsible for working in driver risk management to organise and book fleet driving courses liaising with many trainers and large customers.

Her spare time is all around her family which includes 3 lovely children and their many activities.

Stacey joined Fleetmaster as an apprentice over 7 years ago, and since then has worked on several projects within the business. She now takes the lead of the Driving Academy administration team, which is quickly starting to grow.

 Outside of work, Stacey enjoys eating out and socialising with friends and family (especially with a prosecco on the side!).

Danny began as an apprentice administrator and moved on to become a digital creator. Danny is involved in various e-based activities from e-Learning modules to presentations.

Away from work Danny enjoys watching football with a Guinness in one hand and a slice of pizza in the other.

Sarah joined Fleetmaster in January 2020 as an administrator but has since started working alongside Martin booking fleet training for one of our key accounts.

Out of Work Sarah loves spending time with her 3 children, nights out with her partner and girly catch ups.

Anne joined Fleetmaster Training in in June 2019 as an Apprenticeship and Skills administrator and moved on to become a Fleet administrator.

With over 30 years in Transport, Logistics and Training, Nigel brings all these skills, knowledge and experience to Managers Fleet Compliance within Fleetmaster.

Dave has over 30 years of MHE, Driving and Supply Chain experience and is all about delivering excellence for his customers and the business.

Away from work, Dave enjoys coaching and managing several junior football teams and is a big fan of sports.

Richard has been a driver trainer/assessor for 30 years ranging from provisional licence to National Driver Awareness Courses.

Outside of work Richard has an interest in classic cars and runs a classic Mini.

Franco joined Fleetmaster in 2016. Holding both an LGV C+E licence and CPC National and International he has over 30 years of Operational experience. This is now used to deliver driver coaching and development with clients across the South.

Outside of work Franco enjoys motorsport and football.

Paul Midwood joined Fleetmaster as a Senior Licence Acquisition Trainer. With over 15 years’ experience in the driving industry, Paul took the leap to becoming a trainer 6 years ago and is loving every minute of it.

In his spare time, Paul enjoys spending time with his daughter and going to watch his favourite team Huddersfield Town
